“He lived his truth” – Watch Beyoncé dedicate her GLAAD Award to late Uncle who battled HIV

Beyoncé and JAY-Z accepted the Vanguard Award at the 30th Annual GLAAD Media Awards in Los Angeles yesterday, 28th of March.

GLAAD’s Vanguard Award is presented to allies who have made a significant difference in promoting acceptance of LGBTQ people.

During their acceptance speeches, the couple mentioned family members who are part of the LGBTQ community with JAY-Z giving a cute shoutout to his mom Gloria and Beyoncé dedicating the award to her late uncle who died from complications related to HIV.
