I Was Broken When I Lost My Husband In 2017- Eric Arubayi's Widow Speaks

Almost 2 years after the sudden death of her husband, popular Gospel  singer, Eric Arubayi, his widow, who was married to him for three years, this morning spoke about life without him, and how she reacted when he died.

In an interview on TVC, Chinonso said she rejected motivational speeches when he died and went straight into depression because she didn;t believe a Gospel artist can die like that.

''My husband & I lived a faith based life. When he died, I lived in denial because I felt betrayed by God that my husband, a Gospel artiste, could die. I fell into depression, shaved my hair & wouldn't accept inspirational messages from well wishers'' she said.


She also spoke abot how she managed to get herself up again, so she can pay her bills and that of their son.

 ''In order to pay my own bills, cater for my son and convince people to allow me make them up, I had to start looking good again. From there, I started my make up line and media hustle'' she said

Arubayi had died from complications that arose from taking fake anti-malaria drugs
