WhatsApp is working on a new privacy feature which was spotted in the latest beta build for Android. This will be in development for a while longer, so don't expect to get it right away. When you do, however, it will let you add enhanced privacy meaning people you talk to will be prevented from having media you send them auto-saved on their devices. Normally, WhatsApp auto-saves every media item you receive on your phone.
