Bad news dawned on the entertainment industry of Nigeria after actress and TV presenter Rachel Bakam has died at the age of 39 after battling a short illness.

The founder of Chocolate City, Audu Maikori disclosed the news of her demise via Facebook. He expressed his sadness over the loss of his friend. Rachel breathed her last at a private hospital in Kaduna after a short illness.

Her demise came as a big blow to her family, followers and colleagues as they trooped to her page to send in condolence messages.
