The new Nokia 1.4 dwarfs its predecessor in terms of screen size and battery capacity, but not price. The phone has an MSRP of €99 and should be available globally starting today. The biggest change is the new display – a 6.51” panel with 720p+ resolution (20:9). For comparison, the Nokia 1.3 had a 5.71” display. Also, the battery now has 4,000 mAh in its tank (up from 3,000 mAh). However, that didn’t come with a corresponding upgrade in charging speed – 5W is all you get and (worse still) it’s piped through microUSB.
