Kanye West turns text message to Kim Kardashian into Cartier necklace

Kanye West believes in sentimental gifts. The rapper, 42, recently turned a text message he sent to wife Kim Kardashian into a piece of fine jewelry.

“If you look closely at my necklace, you can see it’s from a text Kanye sent me. He took an amazing vintage Cartier gold plaque necklace and had it sketched out,” Kardashian gushed on Instagram Sunday, showing off her new piece of jewelry. “He’s always the most thoughtful when it comes to gifts.”

Kardashian first shared the text message in question with her followers in May 2019 — the same month that the reality star, 39, landed her solo cover of Vogue and welcomed her fourth child with West, son Psalm, via surrogate.


“This is your life,” West wrote at the time, sending his wife a photo of their living room. “Married with four kids, Get people out of jail, Cover of Vogue, Go to church every week with your family.”

“Dreams come true,” he finished.
