Photos: Huge blaze tears through building in Manchester

A huge fire last night engulfed a building in Manchester, with dozens of firefighters battling the blaze.

Eight fire engines and two aerial platforms were seen at the scene near the Manchester Fort shopping park in Cheetham Hill.

Images shared on social media show a huge plume of smoke and flames reaching up into the night sky and visible for miles.

The fire broke out shortly before 10pm on an industrial park on Bradstone Road, off Broughton Road and Cheetham Hill Road.
