“Don’t Feel Like A Loser,” Frodd

Well, a loser was what Esther felt like after her efforts weren’t enough to keep her team off the Nomination list.

There are always reactions to the outcome of every Nomination Challenge and last night was no different. This week, Team Legends are facing possible Eviction and as they left the Arena after the Challenge, we saw some moments in the Pepper Dem House that described how they felt about the event. This is what went down.

Words Of Comfort

Tears are quick to come to Esther’s eyes whenever her team loses and last night was not an exception. To start with, Esther was one of the chosen to represent her team in the challenge and when her blindfold was removed, Esther completely missed the plate she was supposed to pour cotton balls in. She was really devastated and that opened up her watergate of tears.

At Esther’s side to comfort her was Frodd. Frodd turned into a motivational speaker, as he told her not to feel like a loser and that it wasn’t her fault the team is on the Nomination block. True words, the game is unpredictable, you win some and you lose some.

Frodd’s words had an impact on Esther as she cheered up a bit. The two even had a studio session where Esther provided beats with her mouth to accompany the lyrics Frodd’s was spitting. Good thing she snapped out of it quickly.

It Is What It Is

In the bedroom, Venita and Elozonam also had a talk about the Nomination Challenge. She said she had always wanted to know what it felt like to be up for Eviction. Speak no more babe, you are about to find out.

Elozonam told her to relax and not entertain any bad thoughts about it. According to him, he feels her journey isn’t complete in the Big Brother Naija House. On this matter, we don’t have much to say because the game is what it is and whatever happens should be taken in good faith.

The Ones Who Didn’t See It Coming

Cindy who was used to Replace Omashola expressed her thoughts on the decision Ike made with his Veto Power. In her chat with Venita in the garden, Cindy said she wasn’t surprised that Ike picked her. She felt he did so because they didn’t have any connection in the House so it was quite an easy choice to make. She, however, did express surprise over him Saving Omashola.  Knowing Ike, the ‘gangsta’ owes nobody any explanation and we are certain nobody will dare ask him his reason (well, except Ebuka).

Frodd was also part of the ‘jonzing’ Housemates when it came to the conclusion Ike reached with his Veto Power. “Ike is my gee; I will take a bullet for Ike,” Frodd said. Dear Frodd, apparently you weren’t ‘gee’ enough for Ike to Save you, so kindly move on. Could Ike’s choice of not Saving Frodd be karma? Remember when Frodd used his VPH power to Replace himself with Mercy on the Nomination list? Well, it’s all adding up now.

As the Pepper Dem Gang continue to react to the outcome of the Nomination challenge, we hope dangerous sparks won’t begin to fly when the heat becomes intense.

Unveiling Esther’s Game

In what may seem like a lover’s circle, Esther gets hit by one of cupid’s arrow. Or did she?

Earlier today, Mercy and Diane had a chat about Esther’s newfound strategy – love or what may appear like it.

It was refreshing to Frodd hearing Esther confess her feelings for him to Ebuka on Sunday. As we know, Frodd’s chase to get the attention of his love-interest has been on for as long as we remember. However, in recent times, we’ve seen the pair blossom into a relationship of some sort.

A Scheme?

“She’s acting just to be seen around him always,” said Mercy to Diane in the Kitchen as they discussed the other resident Powerpuff girl. As they both agreed to this, Diane revealed that she was shocked to see Esther move to Frodd quickly and has recently been hanging around him frequently.

Mercy who seemed unconvinced about the Froster ship did not fail to express her doubts. According to her, Esther is only using her relationship with Frodd as a strategy. She said, “Esther thinks that being in a relationship will get her more fans outside the House because she thinks the audience will appreciate couples more.”

We’re not sure if this new addition to the Pepper Dem couples is based on strategy, all we know is that we enjoy the good times they spend together in the House.

“Frodd is Love”

The duo moved their Froster chat to the dining table with an additional gossip partner, Elozonam. Heres, they discussed in details what appears to be the situation in the Froster ship.

“Frodd is love, his type of love is too rare,” Mercy said to Diane and Elozonam. She further revealed that she felt sad seeing Frodd get played by Esther and stylishly put it in words that Esther wasn’t deserving of Frodd’s pure love towards her.

Can love be used as a strategy in the Big Brother House? Well, we’re about to find out how far it will lead the Pepper Dem Housemates.

The Froster Ship: Uphill or Downhill?

With the ups and downs in their relationship, it’s time to examine where this ship is headed.

So, we’ve noticed the ups and downs in Frodd and Esther’s camp and we can’t help but reminisce about the chasing phase in the early part of their situationship. Wait, the chasing is still on?

Oh well, progress mode activated!

Why do we say so? Mercy and Diane said they think Esther is acting and now playing the relationship card with Frodd in the House because she believes that’s the strategy that will keep her in the game. Well, that’s a plus for Frodd, strategy or not. Right? What other “plus” does he have though? We’ll find out in a bit.

Let’s take a minute to study this ship and see if Frodd stands a good chance with his love-interest, shall we?

The Birthday Prank

What’s the best way to tell the love of your life (LOYL) that you’re excited she’s a year older? To Frodd, pulling a birthday joke on her will make her day. Did that work out? Yes! It caused the resident-frowning queen to break a smile or more than a smile. That can pass for a yes for Frodd, don’t you think?

The HoH Chamber

Her royal highness (yes, she deserves the title, for being the first lady to win the crown in the House and twice too!). Back to it, her royal highness was asked to select a partner to share the Head of House room with. Frodd left the Arena feeling like the HoH titleholder after Esther picked him to be her roommate in the HoH room. Even the Housemates had to rejoice with him. Do you know what that means? Another plus for Frodd!

Peanuts Warrior

Must be nice having the LOYL fight for you. The only thing is this wasn’t the regular fight; Frodd fought with his teammates over a bottle of peanuts because he wanted to give it to Esther. The joke is he doesn’t even eat peanuts, however, he was willing to fight the whole team for his woman to get the bottle; even Elozonam’s hot words couldn’t stop him.

If you ask us, that’s definitely a score for Frodd. The question is, was Esther impressed? We can’t tell because she didn’t utter a word during his fight sessions over the peanut bottle. Not a word to the hero? Common Esther, a man is trying.

Mutual Feelings

The king of all table shakers asked Esther what changed in her relationship with Frodd and she replied saying, “I got to know him.” Again, she was asked if the feelings Frodd has for him is mutual and she replied in affirmative but she claims only to have mutual feelings for him because they’re both in a confined space and this has left her no choice.

At this rate, can you tell the direction of this ship? The hot and cold temperature in their camp is getting us confused. On that note, what does Esther mean by she’s left with no choice? The choice is right in front of you!

Anyway, her confirmation means Frodd is on his way to finally capture her heart, do you reckon?

“Leave My Bed!”

Following Nelson’s exit, the pair have recently been sharing a bed together, well, Esther’s bed. One of the nights they shared banters under the duvet, Frodd’s infatuation with Esther led him to go further into getting cosy with her. That round was not successful as Esther not only instructed Frodd to leave her bed but she also dragged the duvet off him and pushed him off her bed.

Oh well, zero point for dear Frodd.

Another Strike For Frodd

Following her conversation with Ebuka on her feelings for Frodd, the pair had a conversation regarding the subject. After going back and forth on the issue, Esther got upset that Frodd would ask her about the conversation with Ebuka.

Many other strikes in the bag, Frodd has been reprimanded by Esther for his inability to listen to her without any interruption. Oh dear, Frodd has a lot to learn, from Nelson, perhaps?

Regardless of the cruise through upville and downville in the Froster ship, we can’t deny that they’ve shared beautiful moments. From their kitchen time to game sessions, bed-sharing moments and of course, food time, they’re on the way to becoming one of the power couples in the Pepper Dem House.

With these scenarios above, how high are Frodd’s chances towards a smooth ship sail with his love-interest?

Housemates Combat Malaria

Khafi kicked off her reign as the Head of House with the completion of the Lumapil anti-malaria campaign Task.

The Pepper Dem Gang presented short plays and speeches as they completed their anti-malaria campaign Task. The Task, courtesy of Lumapil, was to deliver a thought-provoking campaign on the prevention, treatment and eradication of Malaria.

All Work And A Bit of Play

Just so they didn’t spend the entire day working, Biggie spiced it up with a fun game called ‘Touchers’. If you ever played the game called ‘Cops and Robbers’ (or Police and Thief) when you were a kid, then you’d get a hang of this game. Basically, the same thing except for this time, one half of the Pepper Dem Gang dressed up as mosquitoes while the other half remained humans. The objective was to have the mosquitoes chase humans while they tried to make it to the Lumapil safe zone.

Kids At Heart

Ike, Mike and Venita definitely loved the Touchers game a bit too much. It’s no coincidence all three are members of the bedroom wrestlers. A group fondly known for wrestling and snatching other Housemates’ pillows and duvets late in the night. Too bad the fourth member, Jackye, got Evicted. She would have loved this game. The playful pair of Ike and Mike kept jumping out of the safe zone for a little run, duck and dodge while trying to save their fellow Housemates by handing them a pack of Lumapil. Venita, Mercy and the rest of the female Housemates dressed as mosquitos were always ready to give them a good chase. This must be what it feels like being kids at heart.

Let The Anti-Malaria Campaign Begin

The campaign began with an originally composed song by the Pepper Dem Housemates. Sir Dee took the lead and, wait for it, Esther rapped! Who knew she had a lyrical MC in her? In addition to the song, Seyi, Ike, Mercy, Diane, Esther, Tacha, Omashola, Elozonam and Khafi delivered quite an impressive speech on ‘The Prevention, Treatment and Eradication of Malaria’. One part of the presentation that won’t be easily forgotten was the short drama by Omashola and Mike. If they didn’t get the message across, the certainly made people laugh.

I have seen today that Mike and Omashola work very well together.
