This is the stomach-churning moment a Vietnamese doctor removed an ant from a patient’s ear.
Footage, captured by the surgeon's otoscope, shows the tiny insect crawling around the man's ear canal, "searching for food."
According to Dr Hoat, the patient came to hospital claiming there was some kind of insect in his ear.
After a brief examination, the doctor found the ant next to the ear drum, looking for something to eat.
Dr Hoat decided to sort the problem immediately, and used a pair of tweezers to remove it.
According to local reports, the patient was surprised when he saw the ant.
"How could it crawl into my ear?" he said.
The clip was captured on December 6 in Hai Duong, Vietnam.
