Let’s break down the roles of family headship and interrogate why this is seen as a role solely for men. If women are outperforming men in these roles, why are we still handing it to men without question? This entitlement is not only unfair to women but it breeds domestic and partner violence amongst heterosexual couples. Men are not the head of the home, plis dear.
