Abia Man Butchers Wife, Then Sets Self On Fire

A man simply identified as Ejike yesterday threw his community, Ezere, in the Isiukwuato local government area of Abia state, into chaos and mourning.

It was said that the man and his wife got into an argument and the man butchered his wife so much, he believed she was dead. People later came to the woman's rescue and was rushed to the hospital.Sensing his wife won;t make it, Ejike went into his car, spent few minutes thinking of what to do and concluded killing himself. Already there was a container of fuel in his car, he then poured it on himself and set himself on fire with a match.

Community members tried opening the door to safe him, but their efforts were unsuccessful.
