Reports That Money Was Carried Into A Police Helicopter For A Politician False, Police NG Says

Yesterday evening, a twitter user (I_Am_Ilemona) claimed a police helicopter landed at the St Paul’s primary school in Omu-Aran, Kwara South and off-loaded cash into a vehicle belonging to Mr. Tunji Ajuloopin, the APC candidate for the bye election in Ekiti/Irepodun/Isin/Oke-ero Federal Constituency. And the tweet has been fast circulated.

But Police this morning have now denied that claim, saying it is far from the truth. Replying the tweet and photo, @PoliceNG said;

‘’@PoliceNG wishes to implore the General Public and the media to disregard and discountenance a publication in some social media platforms that an Helicopter belonging to the Force that landed at ST. PAUL PRIMARY SCHOOL, OMUARAN, Kwara State off- loaded cash into a vehicle’’
