See, Stop Taking Fake Documents To UK Embassy

You know I love you, hence have brought you this. So many have gotten away with it in the past, but it seems the embassy is now giving away offenders after collecting their visa fees.

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, yesterday, arraigned two men, Jerome Okoye  and Kenneth Ogedengbe, before Justice J. E. Oyefeso of an Ikeja High Court, for allegedly forging documents to secure a United Kingdom, UK, visiting visa.

According to the anti-graft agency, Okoye filed a visa application before the British High Commission in Lagos, but presented fake documents.

Okoye was alleged to have conspired with Kenneth Ogedengbe and presented a forged Certificate of Occupancy for a land in Abeokuta.

They were further accused of forging a revenue receipt of the Lagos State Government issued in the name of Jerome Electronics Nigeria Limited.

However, the British High Commission found out that the documents were fake, as they did not tally with the ones in Lagos State’s database.
