Sony launched the Xperia X in the US this summer in unlocked form for $550. Not long after that it got $50 cheaper, and now it's the cheapest we've ever seen it. Granted though, the X has aged a bit in Sony's portfolio, but it's still a solid mid-ranger. You can now purchase one from Amazon, unlocked of course, for just $399. That's $150 below the initial price, and $80 less than Amazon used to ask for it before. The caveat is that you have to choose the black model to purchase it at this price. The other color versions - white, Lime Gold, and Rose Gold, are each around $25 more...
