Google launches faster Gemini 3 Flash, now available in the Gemini app and Google Search

After the introduction of Gemini 3 Pro last month, today Google has unveiled Gemini 3 Flash. This is the faster model, as its name implies. It's built from the ground up for speed, in fact Google says it feels as fast as a Google search for most prompts. Gemini 3 Flash is now the default model in the Gemini app - you're using it if you select "Fast" or "Thinking".
