It was gathered that Akinbola left for Ilara-Yewa, on Sunday, in preparation for work, on Monday, before the unfortunate incident happened.
She was said to have put calls through to some of her colleagues, that she was already on her way to Ilara.
It was learnt that the victim called a few minutes later, asking her friends to pray for her safety, while her mobile line went off shortly after the distress call.
However, one of her abductors was said to have called a family member of the victim and demanded a sum of N5 million as ransom.
The incident, according to information was reported at the Sabo Police Station, Abeokuta.
