Punch is reporting that the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) returning officer Professor Francis Ibeawuchi has declared governor of Imo state, Rochas Okorocha, the winner of the Imo West senatorial election.
Ibeawuchi said Okorocha (APC) polled 97,762 votes. Jones Onyereri of (PDP) polled 63,117 votes and Senator Osita Izunaso of APGA got 30,923.
