A minor landslide today reportedly hit Nanka in the Orumba North Local Government Area of Anambra State.
An environmentalist and native of the area, Mr Ikenna Ezenekwe, said the development caused panic, forcing residents to flee the place. He said,”There was panic in Ubaha village of Nanka community when residents fled over a minor landslide.
“Residents vacated the community over the fear of a possible major follow up due to the landslide which occurred after a downpour at night which caused a portion of the land to cave in.”
Nobody died in the incident.
