Xiaomi has joined the Wireless Power Consortium, known for its Qi standard. That is the same standard that is supported by Apple, LG, Samsung (which also supports PMA) and others. The company has not made an official announcement, but it showed up on the member list at the Consortium's home page. One would think that the upcoming Xiaomi Mi 7 would be the first to include Qi wireless charging.
